Native PDF digital signing in Oracle PL/SQL

We have reached an important milestone in PL/PDF: native PDF digital signing in Oracle PL/SQL.

The new PLPDF_DIGSIG implementation creates a detached CMS/PKCS#7 signature using SHA-256 and RSA entirely inside Oracle Database—without a Java stored procedure or Bouncy Castle dependency.

It is a deliberately simple first version, but an important step toward a fully native and easier-to-deploy PL/PDF digital-signature workflow.
